I'm a software developer based in Toronto, currently seeking employment in games, techart, VR, pre-vis, CG pipeline or related field. I'm interested in the technical problems that arise in these fields, and I greatly enjoy supporting artists and designers with my technical skills.

My past experience has been in research, computer graphics, VR/AR, games, and mobile software. My undergraduate degree is in Engineering Science, majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering; I graduated from the University of Toronto, Canada. I worked at ModiFace, Inc. in Toronto for a year as a full-time Android developer helping to make AR makeup applications, and I interned at MIT for one summer as a visiting student to help research on energy harvesters. I got my master's degree at the Entertainment Technology Center, Carnegie Mellon University, where I learned to to work with and support creative people and make VR, AR, and other multimedia games and experiences.

Most recently, I've been visiting family and voluteering remotely as a game and Android mobile developer for a non-profit group, Games for Love. As hobbies, I'm currently writing a ray-tracer from scratch and learning digital painting.

In the future, I'd like to specialize further in one of my fields of interest. The intersection of games and visual effects - such as the use of game engines in rendering real-time visual effects in film - particularly excite me. I continue to look for opportunities where I can be helpful and do what I love.
